You’re a maybe, just a maybe Your words lie on my lips so tart But your maybe heart is a maybe start To something I just can’t dart Oh it seems so wrong I can hardly disguise this Clandestine affair I don’t recommend advertisement But I can’t Pretend You’re not there You’re not there I don’t know if I can handle Taking another fall You’re the dog that mauls I don’t think to crawl Til you’ve pinned me against the wall Oh it seems so wrong I can hardly disguise this Clandestine affair I don’t recommend advertisement But I can’t Pretend You’re not there You’re not there It’s easy to fall, it’s easy to break It’s easy to fall for you, my mistake (4X) Oh it seems so wrong I can hardly disguise this Clandestine affair I don’t recommend advertisement But I can’t Pretend You’re not there You’re not there But I can’t Pretend You’re not there You’re not there…

Sweetpea 04:54
Don’t waste your time, I’ve moved on from your bed My watering can is now empty, I dread There have been other vines that I’ve often let die But you keep me at work each try after try You’ve hidden your seeds on the shelf You can’t help me if you’ve lost yourself You were right, I was wrong You were there all along Helping me to not wither away You’re the sun, you’re the rain You’re anything I say Now we’re drowning today Open the blinds behind your eyes Let in the light Center yourself around someone else This is me saying I’m Through with you Day after day I live life while you pine A tree without bark is not nature’s design I climb fast and high in pursuit of the sky But your branch snaps and with it I kiss sky goodbye We put our hearts on the line Your branch will heal in time as will mine You were right, I was wrong You were there all along Helping me to not wither away You’re the sun, you’re the rain You’re anything I say Now we’re drowning today Open the blinds behind your eyes Let in the light Center yourself around someone else This is me saying I’m Through with you You were right, I was wrong You were there all along Helping me to not wither away You’re the sun, you’re the rain You’re anything I say Now we’re drowning today Open the blinds behind your eyes Let in the light Center yourself around someone else This is me saying I’m Through with you

Anyway 03:57
It’s like having brand new eyes And though I try I still can’t see It’s like cutting off my hair It should grow Why it doesn’t I don’t know I am going insane This helplessness is making you to blame I am going insane Please cut these strings they’re keeping my heart tame You said you’d leave behind half of your heart I don’t care, I don’t care Anyway, anyway So what’s the point of you leaving if I can’t be on my own I don’t care, I don’t care Anyway It’s like chewing on my nails I fend them off But they keep coming back It’s like sleeping in till three Even though the sun is out I’m still counting sheep I am going insane This helplessness is making you to blame I am going insane Please cut these strings they’re keeping my heart tame You said you’d leave behind half of your heart I don’t care, I don’t care Anyway, anyway So what’s the point of you leaving if I can’t be on my own I don’t care, I don’t care Anyway I’m singing along Cause you’re like a song That goes around in my head Feed me a new line Cause this one is fine For anyone other than me (2X) Oh uh oh, oh uh oh woah Other than me (4X) I am going insane I am going insane I am going insane I am going insane

Color Sarah 04:18
Sarah waits for sanity Thinking of giving up Everyone sees through blind eyes No one knows why Sarah lives behind disguise And she cannot grow If she remains covered in snow And she cannot breathe If she and oxygen don’t agree Color Sarah She’ll be whatever you’d like her to be Color Sarah Flip through her pages and sift through your crayons Color Sarah Sarah waits for understanding She is a word that’s too big for anyone to know And she cannot grow If she remains covered in snow And she cannot breathe If she and oxygen don’t agree Red or Blue, anything will do Red or blue color her like you (2X) Red or blue or carnation pink Don’t give her any time to think Red or blue, anything will do Red or blue, color her like you Color Sarah She’ll be whatever you’d like her to be Color Sarah Flip through her pages and sift through your crayons Color Sarah Color Sarah She’ll be whatever you’d like her to be Color Sarah Flip through her pages and sift through your crayons Color Sarah (4X)

Grey 04:54
Grey is the color of your grandma’s hair Who lives lonely in a wheelchair And grey isn’t something that you’d wish to be Cause grey’s not the color matched with bravery Grey is the color of the dark storm clouds That rain on the people in the unexpecting crowds And grey isn’t something that you’d wish to find Cause grey’s not the color of dauntless pride But grey is the antidote For self-indulgence sanctioned By fortunate design Good enough This grey’s got a hold on me Good enough Is what I’m made out to be Good enough This grey has got me weak Am I good enough Am I good enough for me Grey is the color of the in between That takes on our simple everyday routine And grey isn’t something that you’d wish to have Cause grey’s not the color of a lily pad But grey is the antidote For self-indulgence sanctioned By fortunate design Good enough This grey’s got a hold on me Good enough Is what I’m made out to be Good enough This grey has got me weak Am I good enough Am I good enough for me

about

While writing the songs to this record, I had all of these problems coming at me and the only way I knew how to solve them was to take a deep breath, release an album, and shrug it all off by saying, "anyway"...
